The social role of religion is also basically in integrating it: religion, as it is clear from its meaning, increases the connections of members of societies and social requirements that help their unity and integration. Because the values ​​that are the infrastructure of social obligation systems are common among religious groups, religion ensures broad agreement and solidarity at the level of society, in addition, religion tends to preserve social values. The fact that religious values ​​are sacred means that they do not change in the changes of worldly concepts. Allameh Tabatabayi also emphasized on the role of religion in creating social unity and cohesion based on the teachings of the Quran, and he considers his desirable and desirable society to be coherent and united and free from any division and disunity.
