This research aims to examine and analyze the clash and conflict of Iranian-Islamic mysticism, which has manifested itself in various forms of the movement called Sufism,The study covers the time span from the early centuries of the formation of Islamic civilization to the Safavid era in the civilizational expanse of Iran.. This research is based on the use cases of "applied research" and in terms of "descriptive" research method. To collect the necessary data and information for the research and to understand the theoretical framework, a library (documentary) method has been used. The innovative aspect of The innovative aspect of this research is the emphasis on the political-social course of Sufism, in contrast to other studies that have been more inclined to explain the spiritual aspects of this movement. What has been inferred as the result of this research is that Sufi sects have not been uniform and in harmony with the world of politics, and have reacted differently depending on the circumstances and backgrounds. Although most Sufis have not been on good terms with politics or have been in harmony with the powers of the time, there have also been groups struggling and striving for truth-seeking and freedom.
